As Eagle Scouts, you were taught to give back to Scouting and your community. Here, you can offer yourself as a source to young Scouts and your community.
Current pre-Eagle Scouts need your help and your inspiration. Your stories about your experience becoming an Eagle Scout and your life after can change the lives of other Scouts in profound and lasting ways. Many Scouts get lost along the way to becoming an Eagle. Many of them drop out of Scouting or lose their momentum and never get their Eagle. 15 minutes of your life can make the difference in a Scout's life.
Your community also needs you. In the early 1900s, Scouting was booming. In our modern world, young boys become more distracted with every passing year. Parents have forgotten the importance of Scouting. You can be the one who makes the connection of relevance between our children's modern lives and Scouting. Now more than ever, the mission of Scouting "to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes" is critical. The youth of today will grow up to run the world. You can effect the way they run it.
